Selections taken from "Poems Under the Sun," A collection of original poems

Seasons

If I have ever known

The April showered

Flower dreamed

Blossom burst

Green wonderful

Songbird Spring

Or,

The dewy grassed

Cricket chorused

Bee buzzing

Noon golden

Sun sizzled summer;

And if I have ever known

The harvest mooned

Color ecstatic

Crisp splendid

Fallen leaved

Jack Frosted Autumn,

Or,

The earth frozen

Ice sickled

Nor’eastered

Snow beautiful

Wool white winter,

It wasn’t until here and now
