There is something about you in the night –

Something so splendid it is perfect harmony –

Not the perfect imperfection of music intervals –

More of movement through time and space –

Not the very vastness of the universe –

The time of my most profound desire

And the space wherein my sense and you are juxtaposed.

Easily my heart is sure and untamed

With every breath you give and take.

There is something about you in the night –

Something so speechless

And yet, exact syntax –

Not of words only –

More the precise placement of silence

Wherein dwells the lucid stillness

Of my most adoration.

Of a million moons your eyes mirror the light –

There is something about you in the night.
